Roof Draining De-Icing Systems Inc. is a small company that was founded with one thought in mind. To address the issue of roof drain freezing and roof flooding. With the more frequent use of roof membrane and rubber roofing materials anchoring to the roof has became a serious issue. Even when snow melt mats and heat trace cables were used to melt the snow and ice, there wasn't a good way to keep the drains from freezing. RDDS designed the De-Icing jig to allow EASY HEAT SR-Trace cables to be put around the drains without damage to the roof and it's materials. We are located in the heart of Denver Colorado at 121 Mariposa St. Denver, Colorado 80223. Just off of I-25 at Exit 209.
Our regular customers particularly value our responsive service and our insight into their roof snow and ice melting problems. In RDDS's ongoing effort to develop roof drainage de-icing systems we are currently testing to reduce Snow Loads for flat roofs and Roof Water drainage for Hip and Valley roofs. We are working to design a heat grid that uses standard EASY HEAT SR-Trace Cable. The grid will be placed in locations on the roof where Snow Load and good water drainage are presenting a problem.
