ARCHITECTS' AND ENGINEERS' SPECIFICATIONS

The following description is provided to assist architects and engineers wishing to specify the installation of Roof Drain De-Icing Systems cable jig.

Supply and install (quantity_______) Roof Drain De-Icing Systems Cable Jig(s).  The Jig shall consist of a polar array of multiple metal parrallel pair tracks radiating from and anchored to a central circular metal frame.  Common roof and gutter heat cable as specified under section_________is systematically placed in a specific pattern through all of the tracks on the roof drain(s) specified under section__________.  The Jig is designed so as not to anchor directly to the roofing system.  Appropriate accessories are offered with the Jig.  The completed apparatus, including the heat cable is then mounted on a roof drain to ensure no ice and snow will form, effectively promoting water flow into the drain during freezing conditions.
