This photo reveals how an array of 3625R14 Rays combined with self-regulating cable and expanded metal have eliminated the buildup of standing snow on the roof.   This photo also reveals how a single run of 3625R14 Rays with cabling up the valley have created a water drainage tunnel to assure against ice damming and water leakage at the valley.

Interesting Tidbit:  The 3625R14 Rays used in this test are galvanized steel while the expanded metal is mild steel.  Notice how the apparent off-gassing of the galvanization is preventing rust of the mild steel expanded metal while the expanded metal rusts when bridging between two Rays.

This drawing clarifies the overall layout of the snow load control system.  The ultimate size of the array is limited only by the total length of cable installed as a single run.  For EASY HEAT SR51J (120V) the maximum length is 140-lf.  For the EASY HEAT SR-52J (240V) the maximum length is 380-lf.

The total quantity of snow load control arrays is limited by availability and distribution of electrical power.
