Fig-1: BEFORE -Is snow covering your roof drains? This drain is revealed by a ghostly expression in the snow surface. A scupper in the parapet wall is also hidden by the snow increasing risk of ice-damming. Now imagine the snow 30" deep rather than 8" deep as shown here.
WE HAVE SOLUTIONS!
Fig-2: AFTER - Please compare to Fig-1. This drain has the 6RDDJ22 cable jig with GC1/MSG1 Contoller. The GC1/MSG1 require freezing ambient T-degF plus the presense of moisture to operate de-icing. Heat trace cable at top left goes to heat second nearby drain.
Fig-3 AFTER -Please compare to Fig-1. In this photo a 4RDDJ22 jig is keeping a canale/ scupper free of ice for water drainage through a parapet wall. Notice that the heat trace cable is channeling water between drains as well.
Fig-4 Notice that this jig has been field modified by shortening three 3625R14 rays to accommodate the nearby parapet walls.
Where is the drain in Fig-1? Imagine a vertical line at about 1/3 the photo width from Left to Right. Then intersect the photo with a horizontal line at about 1/2 the photo height. Near that cross-section you should see the drain dome expression in the snow surface.
